I have a project that requires me to find the algorithims used in a complex rolling code sequence...
Are there any programs in general that 'help' to do this? I know some of the GPU's are capable of doing algorithims extremely fast...any insight would be grealty appreciated. Rep+, for a good solution.

it is not for any windows or microsoft related products..this is for digital copier hardware/software.
The machines that require this algorithim "reproduction" are not in production any longer, so software/hardware support is no longer available. There are no infringment policies being 'bent' here.

i wasnt implying you were using it for ilegal purposes
i was looking at it in the same line as some one telling you were to get a app to buy pass the security features of a game for example thats all

well, this is a sincere call for help!
I have old activation codes from copier parts...they need to "match" the algorithm calculated by the software in the Linux operating system on the copier..otherwise..the newly installed part does not sync up with the machine! Since these are old parts on discontinued machines..I have no way of getting the activation codes from Sharp...they dont exist anymore! So, in effort to repair some of the copiers that I have, I need to figure the algorithm used, to create the activation code for the new part. I have the actual codes I am talking about...I just need to figure the method or formula to calc them myself. ..can you point me in a direction at least?

If you can get the software off the copier some how (this may be straight forward or impossible depending on how it is stored) then you may be able to decompile the original software to some assembly language, and then use that to reverse-engineer a tool to generate them.

..but alas...getting the algorithm off..or 'out' of its encrypted disk space on the protected boot sector of the copiers HDD..would be illegal, as only Sharp, owns the operating system and the rights to their software.
Let me explain a little better. ie- I have the part numbers which are used in the 1st sequence of the rolling code...call them 'part A'. I also have finished activation codes, that the copier has provided me with, [part C] after the new part is installed. The finished activation code, has part of the copiers serial number identification in it [part B] as well as the newly installed part's serial numbers [part A]. Theoretically here is the 'formula'-> A (original serial number for copier) + B (new serial number from part) + algorithm = C finished activation code for operation of the copier. I have been researching CUDA..but dont have a Nvidia GPU to code with ATM... ![]() ..any other ideas?

Typically the program checking the key's is reversed engineered.
You'll spend millions of years checking possible algorithms to generate the few keys you have. Time to end of life the deprecated equipment.
