however the algorithm you described for checking is not efficient at all. believe me if games were made like that warcraft III would be like crysis.

Lol, thats true man. But you gotta understand I am still a beginner in c++. This was my first semester doing this language, and probably will never touch this again. This was barely 3 months of basic c++. Anyways, I just wanted to post my final project in public so I can get some comments and people can highlight my weak spots because I want to carry using c++, its more of an interest to me.
