i've learned everything from http://cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/
so now i want to make something out of it but i have no ideas what to make. its hard to think of anything practical without a GUI ![]() any ideas?

The first thing I ended up doing was to make functions for the formulas used in my math classes.

thanks for the ideas!
actually i've gotten interested in the international olympiad of informatics they have the tasks from every competition along with spoilers and solutions so its good for learning. anyway i've forgotten almost everything... i just tried to overload cin because cin >> a,b; (it should be cin >> a >> b; ) didn't work :{ also i don't think the linux thing would work since app's work simultaneously.

in order to retain the knowledge u have to read it and reread it 3 times over so that your brain can move that from short term memory to the long term hence you wont forget it

Well, technically you could have it during boot time dump registers. Not sure of what use it would be then.
Do some cool loops for something useful, like speeding up homework. Write some recursive stuff, or learn to use sockets and explore that area. Youll enjoy it a lot.
