This is getting confusing, the JDK option still isnt there. On another site it said i have to copy some bin file or something?!

I would re-download the entire JDK and start fresh...Perhaps you have some corrupted files of sorts.

Go here: http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Download the JDK 5.0 Update 7, and if you want the text editor, download that with the NetBeans IDE.

You should be all set by then.
