Appraisal: A64 3200+, 2GB DDR400, 7800GT, CNPS9500LED
Hi I would like to know what I could get for my current rig if I were to sell soon, here are the specs:
__________________Asus A8N-E nForce 4 Ultra Mobo AMD 64 3200+ Stepping 2, DH-E6 (Got upto 2.7Ghz but could do more as temps are a bit of a problem in my room). Zalman CNPS9500LED cooler G.Skill 2GB (2x1GB) DDR400 CL2-3-2-5 (Got upto DDR500 @ 2-3-2-5 on stock 2.6Volts, could have gone higher but never tried) 256 MB Leadtek 7800GT 400/1000MHz never OC'ed. 160GB Maxtor 8MB Cache SATA 2 HDD Antec Sonata II Case w/450W Smart Power 2.0 PSU 12V@32A Total Sony IDE 16x DVD+-RW ReWriter Bought about 15 months ago, need estimate in GBP, £. Umm... £500. But considering the US prices nowadays, around $500 too...but I may be wrong.

About £300-£400 based on ebay prices- probably cost you a lot more @ the time......... hardware just doesn't hold it's value

Yeah its true the value degrades so quickly, but JohnRogers, your system on your appraisal thread, is getting around £450ish without a monitor. Differences are you got X2 3800+ vs my 3200+, SLi version of my mobo, 7600GT vs my 7800GT, my 2GB GSkill DDR400 (Still is about £125 new) vs 1GB Nanya DDR400, but then you have a better PSU and case it seems.
__________________I would say our systems are pretty much equal in price/performance: Yours maybe multitasking and cpu stuff, mine graphics and gaming due to the 7800 and 2GB RAM. Im also selling my mouse, keyboard and dvd rewriter. I just hope I could at least get £400-50. Cheers guys.
