__________________Does this thing have an resale? Trade Value? Overclockability? Is it hard to find a desktop motherboard that is compatible, or can i throw it in any old 478 board with any ram?

That CPU is a 478 pin model, but desktop mobo support is limited. The only real value in it would be for upgrading/repairing a compatible laptop. Even with desktop support, it's probably only worth $15-$20 tops.
