Default Appraisal: X6800 2.93Ghz CPU & ASUS P5N32-SLI Deluxe

I''m doing a build for this kid, but he wants to get rid of his cpu. How much?
It's like 3 months old I believe. Also, an ASUS P5N32-SLI Deluxe.

That is one sick proc! It goes $1000 retail, and should OC awesomely! I would honestly say 700-800 for the proc, no clue about the board. But wait for someone who has experience with buying and selling procs because I'm not the best to ask :P. Anyway you gotta bump from me...

$300 for the proc on here. The E6850 is out as is a better buy. You could get way more for it on ebay I bet.

If you're trying to sell it here on OCN, then forget about much more than $400-500 for the X6800. Most people here are aware that it isn't as "sick" as it seems and is priced to be. Extreme Editions of all Intel Processor Lines are just a joke to true enthusiasts. But on Ebay, you could get a sucker to bid that up to $800 or $900 no problem.

The P5N32 is either a 590 chipset or 680i. Not sure because "Deluxe" is not an edition of the P5N32 I'm familiar with. A P5N32-E is 680i and a P5N32-SLI Premium is 590 crap. If it's a 680i, on here it could go for $150-$175, but on Ebay, possibly $190-$200. If it's the 590, you most likely won't be able to sell it here for more than $50-75. On Ebay though, you could get $100.

Hope this helps! Let us know which P5N it is!

Maybe $400 tops for the processor here on OCN. It has an unlocked multi and thats it.

What Nforce chipset is that board?

Strange...nForce 4 implies something that's not even a 590... and therefore not a P5N32. Not even sure nForce 4's support C2D, pretty sure they don't. Yea, they don't.

There are many P5N32 models, I believe the Deluxe and the SE are pretty much the first models of the P5N-32 series.
