Time for the lappy to go. Basic specs. 1 Inspiron E1705, Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7200 (4MB/2.00GHz/667MHz) 1 17 inch Wide-screen WXGA+ Display for Inspiron 9400/E 1705 1 1GB, DDR2, 533MHz 2 Dimm, for Inspiron 9400/E1705 1 256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS, for Inspiron 9400/E1705 1 80GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive for Inspiron 9400/E1705 Appraise away please. I know it'll hurt, but I can take it  Thanks

i was lucky enough to get an e1405 for $450 on ebay (buy it now style)
id say $750-$801

With the price of the Vostro's and yours being used, I'd say $650 tops. You might be able to get more on ebay, just watch out for scams.
