I have a pair of HD 2900XT 512 (Apphire) in great condition that have not been OverClocked. I have the original boxes and associated SW and cables (incluiding unopened Valve SW)
I paid about $400 a piece for these cards. Thanks for looking.

With the release of the HD3870 you are going to have to sell for less than $240 here (to be fair) though you can probably get more on eBay or something.
Considering with the 3870 you will get the same performance, but less heat and power consumption, I would think asking $200 would be fair.

Show me where the 3870 compares to the HD2900XT please.
I know the 8800GT will but the 3870 is lower end than the 8800GT.

The 8800GT and 3870's destroyed resale value of these cards. I was smart and unloaded my GTX before it's value dropped too much from them. You see them selling now for only about $380-$400 from $450 a few weeks ago. Now the XT takes a bigger hit because the performance difference between these cards are next to nothing. I don't see an XT selling for more than $250 anymore. Probably less.

And I pull 20K with these at stock speeds at 3950 with a quad so I have niot heard any 20K 3870CF scores around...have you? IMO the 3870 is great but does not compare to the 2900XT stock to stck...close...but not quite. Likewise the 8800GT stock to stock only outpefroms the 2900XT is some games. In Synthetic benchmarks at stock clocks it is about equal to the 2900XT but not better. I know because I have the 8800GT and have already compared it. Thanks for the link...it's a great piece of info
