Default Appraisal: Sig Rig

I'm not sure if I need to provide more info, but I was curious if anyone could give me a good indication of how much I should charge if I wanted to sell my sig rig (monitor not included--tower only). I know it's older--about 2 years old, but I figure for a complete system (minus the RAID disk), $500 isn't an unreasonable offer given the components. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Didn't you already post a thread like this? If you can find a person who doesn't know too much about computers (ebayers), you may even be able to milk up to $600 from them. Most people give appraisals amounts to what you could get on overclock.net, which I would still say around $450.

MXC is awesome!

Thanks for the advice--I figure that's a fair price--I'll steer clear of ebay though--nothing but bad experiences selling stuff there... I'll try craigslist first. Thanks again!

Nah, I never posted an appraisal before. Maybe someone with a similar setup did though. Yeah, I figure if it's someone who knows their stuff, $450 is an okay asking price. But for the idiots (ebayers, though I don't want to sell on ebay), I could get more--good point. I'm gonna try my luck on craigslist first. Thanks for the advice!

Wait a tick--you're right. I just checked the forum, and for some reason, my thread got posted twice--at different times, though I only posted once, and didn't do anything stupid like hitting the back button or something like that--not sure what happened...
