Alright, so i am curious what you all think this thing is worth. Its the 8gb model and is fully unlocked/jailbroken/activated.

Keep in mind that if you were to buy this phone straight up, there would be no contract, or mandatory data plan with purchase...

New 3G iPhone will cost you $200 out the door, plus an additional $30 per month for the data plan for 2yrs.

So after its all said and done, your spending ($30 * 24 months) $720 + 200 for the phone.

So after your 2 yr contract with a 3G iPhone will cost you a nice $920.

Buying a second hand, well taken care of iPhone, with no data plan, and can use wifi for all your data needs will cost you....?????

I´ve been real close to buying iPhones to members here in OCN, and they have all told me that $150 is their price for an 8GB one.

The 16 GB one might be between $200-220

I think 150 for an 8gb is way low.

actually there is a $36 activation fee and the cheapest plan with no texting and the least amount of minutes for the 3G iphone is $100 a month (69.99 for minutes and 30 for data)

and the early termination fee is $175

actually i just signed up for the plan 2 days ago and on the little PDA they used to assign the plan the Data network was a SEPARATE option for 30.00 a month that they had to select and the minutes option was a SEPARATE option they had to select for 69.99.

please dont accuse me of false posting with no factual evidence to back yourself up. i know these facts because i walked through activating 3 iphones. I know on the fact sheet it says its included, but that is just because it is required. it is a separate charge on your bill.

AND even without that extra 30 bucks its still quite a bit more than $200 for the iphone 3G
