Thanks but logic board is $200.

What's the point if that's what's dead. Unless I can find it cheaper elsewhere (around $50 - $80).

Yeah, that's true. What you could do: Buy that for $20. Figure out if it needs the logic board. If that's the prob, find one on ebay or craigslist that is being sold for a broken screen or a known bad battery. Could be had for cheap and MUCH cheaper than a whole new iPod. Then you could def. sell it

Well if I could get it working I'll just keep but if I can't I will resell. I'm just interested if it's completely dead, what you think I could get for it?

If you plug it into the wall, and it does not respond, and also plug it into the computer and it still has no response of even connecting after a few minutes.
Then the Logic board is fried. Only thing left worth is the glass, only if there isnt any scratches on it, assuming its good cond.

Not even talking about if it has been water damaged. Then exclude any interior part, which would not be functional, or fail soon due to corrosion.

Sounds like a 1/2lb paper weight from my perspective of what your describing.

Say that everything is good besides the logic board. What would it be worth?

I would say TRUE value of resell, assuming you can disassemble without damage.

99$ resell value on digitizer.
90-99$ resell value on lcd.
$40-50 on the HPJ if you can de-solder it. It is soldered to the Logic board.
Someone might be interested in the backplate / housing if not too scratched up.
Thats another 30-40$
