as above, does not mean much. My 1.25 VID E8400 clocks to 4.6 GHz @ 1.46 Vcore on air.. and its stable. posts @ 4.8 GHz,too.

Well, I've been playing around a bit... I bought an old P35 board (Asus P5K Deluxe) on the low-low, so I've been trying to see how much I can push this thing...
__________________So far, I am at 4.3Ghz (478x9) with 1.275 set in BIOS, 1.24v IDLE and 1.20v LOAD, going IBT for about 1 hr now... I am trying to see how low of a Vcore I can before it's won't stay stable anymore... I will keep posted.

Stable @ 478x9 = 4.3Ghz w/ 1.275v BIOS, 1.24v IDLE, 1.20v LOAD (LINPACK 1HR)

BTW, my load temps even during Linpack is 59c.

4.3GHz 1.275 bios pretty much shows it's a good clocker....
__________________If it can do a 500 fsb 500 x 8 for example I'd say it's a golden one. Edit: Forgot you were testing on P35 board... it's probably fsb walled already.

Here Ya Go...
I wish I bought a better board now... (Perhaps a Giga UD3P?) I have pushed this board to 490FSB, but I just didn't like it... It seemed like it was at the outer limit of what it wanted to do...
