No idea how it overclocks. Just got the chip (used but 100% tested working). How much is it worth?

That's the cheapest I could find anywhere. Also used, just cpu, working. I think $30 is a little low.

For the OCN crowd, I'd say $40-$45 shipped. Good for someone wanting some bragging rights or a fun weekend of trying to kill it. Alternatively, good for a small media pc.

$40-45 shipped is fair.

I have a E4700 that does 3.5 on a P35 board. Most Allendale chips hit a FSB wall at about 350, but they have really high multipliers to make up for it. I love Allendale chips. Any trades for it?

It's just a slight step below an E7200 (which is worth about $80 used).

E7200: 3MB Cache, 2.53 GHz ($80 used)
E4600: 2MB Cache, 2.40 GHz ($?? used)

I think $60 is a fair price (25% off but not 25% worse in performance than an E7200).

Just trying to get other opinions.

I couldn't sell a E4700 for $55 on here, ended up keeping it. That was almost a year ago. No offense dude, but it is really worth about $45. It may even stay there for a while at $45. And really, the E7200 is worth about $70. One guys sold his for $55. http://www.overclock.net/sale/557625...l-working.html

Gotta remember it's an old chip. 65nm.

Also, i've been meaning to ask you, do you see a trend?

$40 shipped for a lil faster sale but $50 would be the absolute max, and that would have to come with some o/cing results.
