2000+ on craigslist DO IT.

I recently sold a i7 920/6gb/dual 4890, blah screw it, my sig rig, on craigslist for $1400, you should definitely be able to get more, especially if you're including a monitor

though, i might take it off your hands if you're selling it for $1500-1600 xD

I'm wondering what I could get if I parted it out.. I don't know how I'd ship this gigantic rig around.

Do you still have the box for the case? if so, I usually stuff in the inside of the computer with newspapers, then overstuff the case's box with newspaper

Shipping via Fedex would be cheaper. Hopefully you have a big box around and just bunch up some newspapers in a ball. Just make sure everything is tight.

I concur, parting the parts out would yield a better chance in selling your stuff quicker.
