Default D40+ Kit 18-55 + Accessories

I'm looking forward to selling my D40 in order to upgrade to a D90, and a buddy of mine showed interest in buying my old rig to a get started in digital photography. While I can more or less put values on some of the parts, I don't know what they are worth really.

Here's the kit:

-D40 body, no dust on the sensor, +/- 3000 snaps on it
-Nikon 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 non-VR, perfect glass front and back, no fungus or scratches or whatever, focus is still smooth
-One EN-EL9 battery, keeps charge like a champion
-Kingston 8 gig SDHC Class 4, reasonably fast as to not limit burst rate
-Sigma DG UV filter, pristine glass as well
-Targus TG-BGD40 battery grip
-All the lens covers, body cover, whatever else random doodads, except for cables.

Here's what I considered for pricing:

300$USD for Body + Lens + Accessories
10$USD for the filter
25$USD for the BG
15$USD for the memory

So basically 350$USD for the kit, + shipping.

I think it's a pretty good damn deal considering I probably put about 650$CAD for the kit, but I wanna make sure I'm not forking myself over. Keep in mind while appraising that this is for a buddy so I don't want to milk him to death, I wanna give a good, fair price.

Thanks.

350 for the kit seems really reasonable. the d40 is a great entry level camera. light weight and smaller compared to the other models. good starting kit with battery grip and 8gb sd card and accessories. if the camera was taken care of, and not much actuations on the shutter, it should be a great deal !
