I just looked up the 8 GB set at Newegg and it sells for $245
And you think 4 GB is only worth $45?

Your kit is $113. But you can get much better kits of RAM for that price.

OCZ Platinums & G.Skill RipJaws are the same price, lower latency, and higher frequency.

And that's just two kits, there are many more on Newegg for the same price or less.

I have the 8GB kit which has slightly better timings than the 4GB kit. I only play games and don't do any video editing or anything like that so I thought I really don't need 8GB. So I thought about selling 4GB.

I think $85 sounds fair.

I'd say $65
Considering I got some gskill 1600mhz 7-7-7-18 sticks for $45 (since yours are new-ish)
