Question How to control fan on X800

Hey all. Got an X800XT with an ATI Silencer 4 and some Arctic Silver 5 on it. I can get 540/1140, but only when I manualy set the fan to 100% because the card will not up the fan speed because it's not reaching 70C. Is there any way that I can edit the bios or something to change the temps-to-fan-speed settings? Currently, not even after a whole 20 hours of gaming will it speed up because it never gets past about 57C but if I set it manualy using ATI tool, it stays 49Cish and I can get a higher overclock. I just don't want to do any custom wiring or having anything running in windows that sets the fan speed. I want it to be part of the card itself.

Thanks in advace. (I should just add that to my sig huh?)

Sorry it took so long to reply.

ATI Tool should allow you to set temp/fanspeed ratios.

Is that what you're after?

No what I'm after is to change the temp at which the fan revs up from 70C to like 45C. It's a silent fan anyways. Oh and I was really hoping to do it without anything from windows. Like maybe a bios mod? Is it possible?
