Exclamation 80 C then shutdowns!

Help!
my x800xl when doing a stress goes to 80C and freezes, the fan was at 89% though i didn't hear it, when i tried spinning it when turned it of it moved sluggishly

I have a 300 Wat PSU and currently the volts are +12v = 11.86, +5V = 4.96

currently at idle GPU temp is 45

so overclock.net what do you think is the problem slugish fan or PSU?

this is very scary i ran the program for 2 sec and the temp rose 7C!

A 300W PSU really isnt enough for an X800XL. It would be fine for a low end graphics card or intergrated graphics but not an X800.
