I've got 2 120mm and an 80mm Sunon fan in my case now. After I put these things in, the GPU temp rose about 4 degrees from what it used to be. Do you think that the airflow is disrupting the air getting to the GPU HSF? I'd think with all the extra air moving through there now it'd be a lot cooler. Anyone with ideas?

well if most likely problem its blowing the hot hair from around the case onto your card thus causing it to heat up

A diagram of where your fans are showing airflow would be good to see.
This is a diagram that PCnerd2357 to give an example. http://www.overclock.net/showthread.php?t=13939

yeah you may have your fans asetup up wrong, intake at front and on side panel, exhaust everywhere else (rear and top usually)

as was said above you should have fans at the front blowing cooler air into the case and the fans at the back ( or top ) acting as exhaust fans to rid the case of hot air

here is what the airflow looks like. at least i'm guessing what it looks like. I am planning on getting rid of my zm80d vga cooler and going with the ati silencer instead. not because of this but because i've been planning on doing it anyway.
__________________the only good thing so far about the cooling setup is that my cpu idles at about 31ish. maybe when i upgrade to the ati cooler the fan on it will intake cold air and run it by the gpu and exhaust it back out. anyone think that a viable solution could be to pull out one of the pci filler plates? just so the air going from the lower fan to the front will have an easier escape route? sorry about the crap picture...i'm not the artistic type.

Someone around here has a ghetto yet effective way of cooling their gpu. They put an 80mm fan next to the gpu blowing air out the back (yea they removed those pci things). The fan just hangs there but it does work. Good circulation and zero dust helps a lot.

well the 2 120s in there now are both rated at 108cfm. the 80 is a 50cfm i think. i have them turned down a little bit with the fan controller to lower the cfm output on those and have the rear running at full blast. i tweaked with the settings a little bit and ati tt is still reading the same. case temp is fluxing between 34-35 and gpu temp is steady at 40. i'm a little worried cause when i'm gaming the gpu gets up to 65. i think i might have to bite the bullet and just upgrade to the ati right away. anyone else have other opinions?
