Question Zalman VF700-CU or VF900-CU GPU Cooler?

I'm thinking about changing the GPU cooler on my Radeon 9700 Pro.

I've doing some research and I've got it done to two possible cooler. These are:-

Cooler 1: Zalman VF700-CU
Cooler 2: Zalman VF900-CU LED

So which one do you guys think would be best for my 9700 Pro?

For a 9700Pro? Neither....save the money and upgrade. Really, it won't make that much of a difference...

Well I went to the store to get a VF700-CU but they had sold out. So I got a VF900-CU

I had a bit of a problem cleaning the GPU before fitting due to the thermal paste the Sapphire used. It was some weird yellow stuff that was rock solid. It took 2hrs to get the stuff off

I've left the new thermal paste to cure for a few hours and I've already noticed the difference.

On the stock HSF, I could only get to 356 on the core through ATiTool. Any higher and the system would either freeze or BSOD. But with the new HSF, ATITool is currently testing 381.

A VF900 is a little overkill for the card
Of course it clocks higher now! I know the yellow stuff you mean, it was on a friends Gigabyte 9700Pro aswell.
