Default X1950XT cooling

Hey, I was wondering whether its worth upgrading from the standard cooling to something different.. possibly zalman as ive heard they are the best ati cooler around? Ive read alot about temperatures and have found my card runs at 78C under load (ATI tool) I feel this is a little high, any suggestions?

I wouldn't go zalman. I got it when I bought my vid card (last week) and by the end of that week I was regretting it and had ordered a Thermaltake Tide Water. Heat pipes cool through cycles, and with a x1950xt making so much heat these cycles slow down, therefore making the card get hot. I experienced the same temps as the stock cooler (it was just quieter).

If you want to go air I'd try the Accelero X2 or the Thermalright HR-03 (HR-03 with a good fan).
