An arctic cooling rev 3 would be better than those. if you are dead set on the zalman though i'd go with the vf700 due to ease of install. i think it cools just as well as the zm80d.

i used to have the zm80d and i switched to arctic cooling and dropped another 3-4 degrees. my environment temp and gpu temps are equal. with the zm80d gpu temp was about 3degrees higher.

yeah but don't forget i have the 9600pro version... if i'm not wrong, the cooling rev 3 does not fit my gfx card...

The rev 3 does fit a 9600pro. Not sure how a 9600pro relates to a gfx card though. I use the zalman vf700-cu and reviews show that it and the rev 3 are pretty much equal.
