The HR-03 is the best vga air cooler you can get right now. It's big though, takes up 3 slots with a fan.

Your question has been answered. The best air cooler is the Thermalright HR-03. There are several versions of it though, you have to make sure you get the one compatible with the 3870.

im going to say the HR-03 Rev 1. so far from what ive read. The DuOrb does well too, but ive heard mixed reactions for both coolers.

The HR-03 easily takes up 3 slots, the duorb will take up 2. If you need that 3rd slot, get the duorb, if not the HR-03 is the way to go. And you can use whatever fan you want with it, and there are ways to ghetto mount a 120mm fan on it as well.

True but nothing to compair with the HR03, i still think the HR03 is a better cooler period, if you have the space then buy one and watch the teps drop
