Hey people...
__________________can u all tell me how good this card which i am plannin to buy is..??? card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161178 this is gonna be set in the intel 915GAV motherboard with 1.5Gb DDR1 memory windows vista ultimate edition.. i am also plannin to buy a 19"DELL widescreen lcd display... all these days i was using the inbuilt graphics from the motherboard.. my main purpose is watching DIVX movies n palying NFS PROSTREET ... this is my first graphics card in my life... i hope its not gonna break my heart  pls can any one list the pros n cons of this card.. after reading the reviews of the card in the same website,it sounds good.. but gettting a review from OCN is different i knw.. thats why plsssss.... reply ASAP i have to buy this before dec8th

That is a quality card from a quality Brand. I am sure you will get tons of 'get this card instead' posts, so this one isn't going to be that. I say get it and you will be happy as long as you don't expect to get top performance on newer games. If that is what you want, please post again clarifying what you are looking for and your budget.
One this I do notice is that you have 1.5 GB DDR memory, that might be the source of a bottleneck as Vista is memory hungry. I would recommend spending some $$$ to get at least 2 matched 1GB sticks of memory. Please fill out your system specs using the 'User CP' link so we can help you better.

neat software... is there any way to overclock this sytem to perform better in the gaming platform ?? like vista is not able to run its ultimate skin called AERO... is there any way to get this work???
