Wow, about 3 degrees C cooler at the CPU and only at 42 Idle on my folder with this stock cooler.
I don't see a need to add a waterblock on it just yet.

Looks good on screen too and I barely made a mess at all with the change out.
My fingers are kind of UV blue though. lol

Now if I can just get my aftermarket coolers to all sort of fit in this rig I'll go back to SLi.

Is the fan bigger on this than on the old ones? Looks like a nice improvement.

I'm not sure because this is my first ATi card in more than ten years but, it does look bigger than the stock fans on the GTS.

That seems really high, mine idles at 30C and at full load about 54C, I have my fan set at 70% all the time.

That looks exactly like the cooler GeCube introduced on the X1950XT a year or so ago. Heatpipe placement, diagonal plastic vents, everything.
