A friend of mine is building a computer but has asked me whether the Zalman Fatal1ty FC-ZV9 cooler will work with his HD3870. Link below.

It's essentially the VF900 withe the fatality monicker, so yes it should work.

Well, if it's Fatal1ty, then it has got to be the best thing on the market. I mean his mouse pads are so great that the VGA cooler will be well worth paying the extra 50% to have his name on it. I can't wait until my Fatal1ty lint brush comes in the mail.

Do you guys think it will be a better HSF than the Thermaltake DuOrb? He's only getting it for the colour really.

hard to tell, couldnt find a review to compare them i found this one which comepared the vf700 to the duorb and well you can see for yourself. duorb vs vf700
