I can't get Riva to throttle my fan speed correctly. I changed the "AutoFanSpeedControl" variable to 3, and I set it to "Auto" with the fan speed adjustments made. Still won't throttle! It just sits there at 25% being an idiot.

the above guide shold help and its better if you adjust the fan speeds that way.
i would just add that rather than using temperature for fan speed,as shown in the guide,use the core speed if you have the low power 2D clocks,

There is a option in there that sends it to the system tray when opening. I don't have it installed now or i'd give you directions.
