Default HD3870x2 + Zalman Fatal1ty FC-ZV9/CF9000-CU
So as the title states, I'm wondering if I can mount two Fatal1ty FCV9 or CF9000-CU on my HD3870x2. Can anyone help me out before I waste my money?

I highly doubt it due to the close proximity of the cores, plus the mounting holes will be different.

I know that but I wont waste money either.

But why dont measure and see if they will interfere with each other.

The FC-ZV9 is 96mmx96mmx30mm so from the middle to the edge it is 48mm. Then we just need to measure the distance between the middle of the two gpus.

I dont got the time to measure this myself right now

Maybe it should be better to use an cooler that looks like the VF700.

what about *two* HR-03 GT? mount one so the heat sink is over the card, the other so the heat sink is under the card? Expensive but it has potential to work.
