Hey
!I would like to know how important are ramsinks when overclocking? I can get my ram clock from 400 to 441. After that i get artifacts. Should ramsinks get me higher? I got MSI RX2400PRO. Where should i put the ramsinks? Do i have to put them on the bottom? ![]() Or is my ram covered by that BIG heatsink? ![]() Thanks!

You most likely hit your limit. but ram sinks go on those memory chips It really isn't needed but every little thing helps.
And Also Strap a fan on that big MSI heatsink.... That will help alot.

They are mostly for aestethics. Not needed for any but the fastest cards.

Zero point in putting ramsinks on that card.

I'd say maybe, if you are putting this in a HTPC, then yes as there tends to be little air flow, if it is a normal case (with probably decent air flow) then no not really needed.

I've had absolutely no luck with putting ramsinks on my slower cards. Doesn't improve the memory speed one bit. But you may get better results, I don't know.
