I just got my Zalman VF700-CU in the mail. If you are considering buying one of these for your X-series, read this first.
The rear bracket that mounts the cooler has two different sets of holes, for different kinds of cards. The X-series cards use the inner set of holes. This means that about a quarter of an inch sticks off the end of the bracket. This is all well and good, until you try to install the included RAMsinks. One of them hits this bracket, so you can't install it correctly. What I did to correct this problem: I got a dremmel with a metal cutting wheel and a vice grip. I clamped one end of the bracket in the vice grip, and proceeded to cut the excess off the other end of the bracket. Then i used a grinding wheel to smooth the rough edge off (you can use a dremmel attachment if you have one). This works great but you can never put the cooler on a card that uses the outer set of holes. just a DIY FYI
