Default cooling my x850xt?

I have an x850xt on the way from Newegg, arriving tomorrow.

I also have a Zalman vf700-cu installed on the 9800xt I'm currently using.

Should I switch from the stock x850xt cooler to the Zalman?

The cooling on the x850xt looks pretty beefy, is the Zalman gonna be any better?

I would personally fork out a bit of extra cash and get an ATI silencer, that will keep it nice and cool and it won't be as noisy as the stock cooler.

You could put your Zalman cooler on it and see if its cooler, I have no experience with that cooler but I would think that it would still be better than the stock X850 cooler.

If you can get a artic silencer 5 series by all means use it! Some people say some contact problems but think about it, do you want that hot air circulating around the graphics card with zalmans cooler. Hell it cooled my x800 by 20C!! thats right, celcius. I now idle at 40C and full load is just 55C for my graphics card. And its overclocked like crazy. Get the silencer, by all means

with my x850xt (while it was working) i idle at 32-36c and at full load get into low 50s - thats with all the hot air circulating around my zalman
