Hello,
Hey are you guys with aftermarket coolers on your 48's using sinks? If so, what? I just ordered a VF1000 and was wondering if I should get some sinks. Thanks Installed ![]() 30°c drop under load ![]() ![]()

I'm still running stock but I've seen alot of people not running sinks on their custom cooling

lol what do you mean by sinks? Im using a VF1000 on my 4850 with the blue heatsinks on my ram, if that's what you mean.

What's a pwm?? Only thing being cooled would be the gpu core+ram, so i guess the pwm (whatever they are) are naked :P

If you're planning on overclocking (like me) I would say don't leave them naked.
__________________I've got the DuOrb and I've got both ramsinks and PWM sinks on mine, GDDR3 can get pretty hot, especially at higher clocks, and if your Vmodding at all, those PWMs are going to need the extra cooling Plus, its just safer.
