Nice pics but the layout of the 4850's is different than that of the 4870 (the 5 digital vrm chips that need ramsinks are under that gold plate for the 4850).

I know the DuOrb fits my 4850 but does it fit the 4870? The DuOrb also comes with enough heatsinks for all the voltage regulators, and vrm chips on the 4850. In fact, you'll have 1 left over afterwards.

So can you be more specific as which water blocks will or won't fit? Just keeping in the spirit of your reply to my sweeping generalization.

What about the XIGMATEK VD964? It has gotten a pretty good review (let me dig it up) and it is the same price as the DuOrb and has 2 92 MM fans so it will be quiet. Because I've heard the DuOrbs are loud
EDIT: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/coo...auras-vga.html ![]() The BadAxe is the one Im reffering to Heres it for $35

http://www.overclock.net/ati/360994-...on-thread.html He said the Duorb is not recommended. Although he didn't say where he heard it. I also have the Duorb on my 4850 and have great temps. The 4870 is the same core, just with a bump in volts in speeds. I can't see how the 4870 would run so much hotter.
