Default GV1000 vs. FC-ZV9 vs. S1 for a HD 4850

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...tCode=10007804
http://www.svc.com/zm-fc-zv9.html
http://www.petrastechshop.com/accoacs1re2.html + 2 120mm Yate Loon

Just wondering which set-up I should go with for best cooling, ease of installation, and asthetics. I dislike the S1 looks like compared to the other two, but if its not too hard to install and it's superior cooling wise, then I will go with it. For whichever one I choose, will I have to buy a aftermarket TIM and will I have to buy aftermarket RAM sinks too?

The ZALMAN FC-ZV9 would be the worst of the lot, its the oldest (My VF900Cu is jthe same cooler with a different colour, cools well on my 6800GS)

I think the S1 is the best, but I don't think there's much difference.

Just for looks I think I'm gonna stick with the GV1000. That and I get a shipping discount since I'm buying dual 120mm Thermaltake Red Thunderblades from ZZF as well.

Well the VF1000 works really well and its just the non-nickelplated, blue LED variant of the GV1000

I think you'll have to buy more ramsinks because the GV1000 only comes with 8 ramsinks.

I'm not entirely sure, but check on it.

The Duorb on the other hand does come with 8 ramsinks and some extra ramsinks for the voltage area. I think there were 12 in all?

My duorb gets 32c idle and 44c load on my 4850. It's great.

With the GV1000, yes, you only get 8 heatsinks, so just buy more heatsinks while you're out :P
