I've never heard of it
![]() Is it made by Arctic Silver? How much paste did you use to attach the sinks and did you leave the card right side up for a few hours before you put it back in your case?

Nope, didn't leave it right side up, but the AAA sticks well almost instantly.

How much did you use? Did you press down gently when you put the sinks on? Do they move right now? Can you force them to be tighter if your press on them?

Yea, something isn't right, you just bumped the core vddc to 1.32 so that's not too much more strees on the vr's, yea make sure that hs is making good contact with them and didn't loosen up any, the problem will be moving them, if I remember right that stuff doesn't come off easy much less at all sometimes.
__________________For the ram, you are running the 1.5v right? or did you adjust their v also? hhmm on stock volts my ram with stock cooler doesn't go above 60c and usually stay in the mid 50'sc. Edit: wait nvm your voltage is going to be different I was thinking 4870 , I never did check and see but i think the v for teh DDR3 is what around 2v, I haven't checked mine with a dmm so not 100% sure. Either way you just did a vddc voltmod right?

I alwasy though that DuOrbs blew air up to the chip. If im right you are killing air flow, as you fan you attached is pulling air away from the duorb. That is assuming Im correct. If I am there is no air to blow onto the card thus nothing is actually cooling your copper fins, and that would be where your problem is.

Even with that fan blowing its causing atleast some reduction in airflow because air that enters that region is being split by that large fan (probably better airflow, thus taken a higher percentage of the cool air) and the duorb. How that helps.

What temps do you get when you take that extra fan off the card? It looks like it's blocking airflow somehow.

Hold on, give me a minute to go through and answer all of these questions.
1. I used a moderate amount of arctic alumina, and pressed the sink down pretty well so it made enough contact with the vrm's. At least I think I did. 2. They don't move right now, they're nice and tight. 3. For the ram I didn't adjust the voltage. 4. I don't know which way the duorb is blowing, but i'll see if I can find out. 5. The big fat fan is blowing down to the bottom of the case. 6. The little fan is blowing at the vrm's and to the top of the case. 7. My vrm's go up to maybe 100c when the fan's aren't on there. I'll find out which direction the duorb blows, either toward the card, or away from it, and i'll move the big fan to push or pull more air in the same direction. The gpu temp isn't the problem though, it's the vrm's.
