Default HD 4850 Crossfire cooling (Zalman VF1000 already installed)

Hi there,

I have a question. I currently have a Zalman VF1000 installed on my Club 3D HD 4850, and I'm considering buying a 2nd 4850 to go crossfire since my mobo allows this. However, I don't think you can crossfire with 2 zalman VF1000's because the heat pipes will get in the way. I dont want to leave my 2nd HD4850 stock cooled because 85 degrees in my case is just nuts, and I want to overclock it as much as my VF 1000 is (690 core, 1045 memory).

Is there any option for an aftermarket cooler that doesn't get in the way of a crossfire bridge? Help would very much be appreciated.

It should work in CF, you only have to worry about clearing the pipes on the top card.
I ran my 4850 above my 4870, there was contact with the pipe but it still fit.
