Default Fan Hack For The Hd 4870

i have been reading about this fan hack on the HD 4870 and i cant find the folder in which they are speaking of i am on ati catalyst driver 8.7 on win xp pro 32bit if any one can help it would be grately appreciated thanks

When having a map opend (any map) click on Extra->Mapoptions->second tab->Scroll down and click on the Show hidden maps. This should help you locate it.

There are actually 2 things that need to be changed if you're looking for a fixed fan speed:

Text in red should be adjusted to "Manual":
<Feature name="FanSpeedAlgorithm_0">
<Property name="FanSpeedAlgorithm" value="Automatic" />
</Feature>

Text in blue should be adjusted to your desired fan speed:
<Feature name="FanSpeedPercentTarget_0">
<Property name="Want" value="0" />
</Feature>
