Default 4850 Heatsink Locations

I purchased a Thermaltake Duorb for my 4850 and some Zalman ZM-RHS1 for the little chips. I have never found a straight answer, so I'm asking now.

Where exactly do the little heat sinks need to go? Pictures would be nice, but I just want to know where to put them so I don't leave something uncovered and fry my card. Thanks.

I know about the memory, but I have read about people putting them on other little things. Is it necessary?

edit: What is/are MOSFET?

Some people put them on the mosfets.

Mosfets control the voltage for the core and memory -

They are under the copper piece to the right of the fan on the HD4850.

absolutely, i have the same setup, 4850 with a duorb, and I can tell you from experience you MUST put the heatsinks on the VRM chips (they come with the DuOrb, and look like a clip sort-of) I dont have any pictures, but the VRM chips are located under the heatsink behind the 4850's fan. There are 4 of the big ones and 8 really small ones behind them IIRC

Sweet, so should I put some there, or is it not really an issue?

I think I should, so I will. I have also heard of people sawing off the end of the stock heatsink and using it. I would assume that isn't too smart, but I guess if it floats your boat...

They don't have extra ramsinks, so they cut only the mosfet part of the stock cooler off.
Its fine except is voids your warrenty to hack it up like that - but they probably Vmod so warranty is useless anyways.
