Does anyone know when it will be released and if it will be compatible with the 1gb version of the 4870?

It looks great and I really want to buy it when it comes out and I get my 4870...

It might work. It looks like it uses separate mosfet and memory chip cooling and the heatsink itself contacts just the gpu.

Email thermaltake or maybe wait till newegg sells em?

shipping it comes out to be 60 something after shipping is charged and I have to buy 2 92mm fans that is close to 100 bucks for it... for 100 bucks I could buy another video card>_<

overall, i'm happy with the upgrade. here are my t-rad2 results below.
i'm running a ati radeon hd 4850 with 1 vantec (tf9225) 92mm and had hwmonitor run in the background while i played a few hours of crysis.
