Will this work with a 9800 Pro video card?
http://xoxide.com/arctic-cooling-ati-silencer-3.html Its the Artic Cooling ATI Silencer 3 Compatablility is listed as 9800XT. EDIT: I'm actually trying to get a good OC for around $30. Please list any good coolers for a 9800 Pro around that price (what you think will do the best)

I heave heard that the ATI silencer series some times don't fit on 9800 Pro's. I hear that the transistors get in the way. I would reccomend the VF700Cu over the ATI silencer.

Aww, just aww. I almost bought the Zalman for my X600XT but found the caps are too tall, so then when it came time for my X800XL I just assumed that wouldnt fit it either
__________________ I love my silencer but since my ZalmanCNPC7700CU works well, then I assume the VF-700 is good too.EDIT/// to clean out the dust, simply take a can of compressed air and blow in through the exhaust port when the fan is off, might wanna put something at the other end to catch the dust falling out and into your case but yes it is ugly. and if you tighten it good, it doesnt slide around so your call.

I am currently using the Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 1 Revision 2 on my Radeon 9800 Pro. It fit with no problems. If you’re looking for an inexpensive alternative and are not concerned with more noise, use the stock HS, add a system blower in the open slot under the card. It blows hot air out after pulling the air across your card. I'm actually going to return to this method. I love the idea (and the look!) of the Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer; but I would rather have my toy a few degrees cooler.

I just bought the Zalman VF700-CU 2 VGA Cooler. I am at 400MHz Core and 344MHz Memory (DDR688). I hope to OC my memory now. The cooler comes with RAM sinks and the fan will blow across them. I am hoping to get at least 15MHz+ more on my core now.
