silence Xfire cards?
hey all,
since last weekend i have a nice crossfireX setup with my new HD3870x2 and my "old" HD3870 before this i had an Accelero S1 Rev2 on my HD3870 for extreme cooling but that doesn`t fit anymore  so i`m back to stock cooling...on both cards...they sound like yets  so my question is: how can i silence these cards? preferably with stock cooling, but aftermarket cooling is an option as well. i would love to use 2 Accelero S1`s but that just doesn`t fit so i would need single slot coolers...any ideas? for both the 3870 and the X2  thanx

Slower fans = Hotter cards so stock is out the door. Passive cooling will only get you so far, but i'm sure someone can offer a great product. My pc at work is being funny otherwise i would give you a link.

my Gigabyte board isn`t very multi-card friendly
and i still need to put a soundcard in and the only PCI slot left is right below my 3870. so...single slot coolers only

thermalright HR-03 on the 3870 with the hs wrapped around the card but the only coolers i can thinkl of for the 3870x2 are water blocks

i would love to watercool both cards...but i just bought a house with my girlfriend...so money is kinda ... well...gone lol
