New to Overclock.net
|
here is the card i have
![]() and im installing a t-rad 2 with 2 - 92mm fans, here are some pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() now to my problem, if i wire the 2 - 92mm fans to the 12v rail i get the blue screen of death on xp, but if i plug in the stock fan the card works perfect, can someone tell me how to hook up the 2 - 92mm so that the card will work and stop giving the bsod, so i dont need stock fan plugged in. thanks for any help. Are you not using standard molex or 3 pin fan header connections for the fans?

just connect it to a regular 3 pin on your motherboard... don't connect it to your card

can you just jumper the fan port on your card, would seem to be the easiest way, just from power to ground.

That may be your problem. Don't use the drivers on the disc. Install whatever the newest catalyst version is.

Yeah, I never use the disks that come with boards and GPU's, I always download the most current drivers from the website. Just use the most current drivers, and if you still have that problem then there may be a jumper or something on the GPU (not sure) or if nothing else like mentioned above, just cut off the harness of your stock fan and solder/crimp the wires together and heatshrink, then just plug it in to the fan header on the card, easy jumper.
