I'm going to buy a new pc with HD4870,
__________________And I am planning to OC him :] I need a good cooling for him, can you recommand for that :] ![]() what about the twin turbo

I have the thermalright T-rad2 and some Iandh RAM and VRM heatsinks on order, Ihave only heard good things about those 2

Bahh it's not available where Im buying it,
__________________So how is the twin turbo XD? and if I take the twin turbo, does it matter whats the company of my card? (gb, club3d etc..) I don't know what company to choose :{ should i take the most cheap one?

why dont u stick with the stock cooler? its one of the best out for the card... grunion had an aftermarket and it ended up being hotter than the stock one...

I managed to find a review of the twin turbo in another forum. It looks like a good performer and is compatible with the 4870.

you'll need better case ventilation if you get that twin turbo. i think people forget that the stock 4870 cooler throws all the hot air out of the case, instead of just circulating it inside the case.

The Accelero S1 rev.2 should work great. Have it on my HD4850 and load temps never get above 52*C with a single 120mm fan.

I have myself a T-Rad2 and 4870 and wish I could give you some temps, but my rig isn't anywhere close to together and won't be for a few weeks. I'm waiting until I move to put it together. I can tell you the T-Rad2 looks like it will help out a lot. It's massive.
