Using a Scythe Musashi to cool my Sapphire 4870 1GB and the results are very impressive. The Scythe Musashi came with 2 slim 100mm fans that push 27.60CFM with a 29.22dBA. That is not enough CFM for the rated dBA it produces so I purchased 2 standard 100mm Scythe case fans that push 58CFM with a 30.68 dBA. That's only 1dBA more than the 100mm slim fans but with double the CFM.
Both VGA fans are connected to the fan controller my PC-V2110 came with. My 4870 is OC'ed 835/1025, on MAX load with both fans @ 100% the temps never go higher than 48C. Idles at 39C.

Waiting on my Lian-Li CR36 card reader. My Sony Cybershot doesn't have a USB connector built in like most digital cameras. There's a ton of pictures of my new rig I need to post in the Lian-Li owners thread.

Idle seems a little high, but the load temps are pretty good. Mine is stock and with the fan set to 40% my idle is around 36C. Now load temps, there's a good difference on that side of things. Nice low sound on those fans though, I couldn't imagine ever running the stock one at 100% for normal use.

Hey, quick question...
My 4870 has some pretty big holes from the original cooler and the musashi mounting screws have enough space in those holes to move around a bunch. When I had the musashi on my 9800gt it couldn't move at all. Every time I remove the card to work on my pc, when I put it back in my temps are different from the cooler rotating and moving in relation to the gpu... Is your card like this too? Can the cooler move or is it pretty much stationary?
