look what is happening.... the heatpipoe is pressing on one of the ramsinks

That really shouldn't be happening , you can't just leave it like that, you have to figure out a way to make it stay down. Either make the ram sink smaller (trim it down somehow), or get another smaller sink for that chip

And yeah, I'd wait for new thermal tape too

EDIT: so you can get THIS (these might fit better) and replace the one that isn't staying on; or if you'd like to try some modding, just trim it down

And use the cleaning process I mention in my guide

I believe that something has overheated, I am not 100% but make sure all ramsinks are making contact and that you have one or two on the vrm's

You need to bend the fins on that sink,so the pipe passes over it.

D1601 - Shows overheating

D1602 - Power connector #1 removed

D1603 - Power connector #2 removed

D1604 - GPU fail

The descriptions above are for a 4870,but they should be similar on a 4850.
