there is no way for me to stick it on now.. I have to wait until i get the thermal tape

I believe that something has overheated, I am not 100% but make sure all ramsinks are making contact and that you have one or two on the vrm's

They work well, i use the sinks that come with the s1 rev 2 for the vregs.

You need to bend the fins on that sink,so the pipe passes over it.
D1601 - Shows overheating D1602 - Power connector #1 removed D1603 - Power connector #2 removed D1604 - GPU fail The descriptions above are for a 4870,but they should be similar on a 4850.
