Default 3pin fan plugin

Hiwsit guys, so i could not stand the noise my stock fan was making, so i upgraded to a zalman gv1000. I was wondering, can I plug the fan directly in my motherboard, or do I need to plug it in ob the gfx card? What is best?

You can plug it into the motherboard. It comes with a fan controller also.
