Default HR-03 on 4870s?

I might get a HR-03, but how does it perform on an 4870 and 4850?
What fan should I go with? (want quiet ones)

Thanks
Brian

HR-03's work really well on any card that's compatible

As for silent fans...I dunno. Look at some of Noctua's fans? (They're kinda pricey though)

scythe ultra kaze, and then undervolt it, or slipstreme if needed. Always go with highest preformance, and then undervolt, vs having full load.

I've got a Thermaltake A2017 on my HR-03. See my newegg review. It includes a fan controller that mounts in a spare expansion port. At around 40% it's silent and provides adequate cooling.

Noctua NF-P12 is pretty much the best fan you can get if you want quiet.
