Default Accelero S1 Rev2 vs. Accelero S2

I was just curious as to the difference between the Accelero S1 Rev2 and the Accelero S2.

Also, is this the add-on that will make it the Turbo or whatever?

I just recently decided to switch my 8600GTS for an HD4850, so I am researching cooling options.

And the unit packaged as Accelero Twin Turbo... from the looks, I'd guess that it's a completely different model and not just an S1/S2 with the turbo module.

Essentially I'm thinking about getting Accelero S2 and the Turbo Module. Input?

Well I got S1 with 120 mm Fan on it and I can tell u that temp never go over 51C on load.
U should be more than good with a 120 mm fan and not those small things.

You shouldn't buy the turbo module when you can just buy some powerful fans and put them on there. The Accelero S1 is better than the S2 as it has more heatpipes. In fact, with good mounting and a good fan, it's one of the best air coolers you can buy. I had one myself. Also, you're my kind of guy, running a quad on a TT120.

So buy an S1 and then some 120mm fan that moves air well and quietly, then zip-tie it on?

EDIT: TT120 was one of my best purchases in this rig. Can you recommend somewhere that I can get an S1 and a good 120mm fan in the same purchase, since Newegg seems to be out of stock.

Bump.

So should I do the S1, then ziptie a Scythe Slip stream to the S1? Or should I get a different fan...? My other fans aren't that quiet, but I don't want to add a ton of noise to it.

Thanks!

Thats fine, just know that you'll be taking up 3 slots with that cooler + fan... but the slipstream is a great choice

Thanks... I'll have to double check later. Too lazy to open my case right now, but I think the two slots below my card are available.

If this can help u. Right now my EVGA is @ 72 C and my BFG is @ 56 C. Why 56? It is because I am runnig a crappy 80 mm fan on accelero. I uused my 120 mm fan from card to put on true for push/pull due to one of my fan died on true. So all this with 80 mm fan.
My room temperature is 23 C.
I guess this give u some inf o how good aceelero is.
