Default Cooler for 9600XT 256MB

I'm replacing my existing Gforce 4 Ti with 9600xt and thinking of O'Cing it. any recommendation for a cooler for it? or is the existing cooler good enuff?

The stock cooling will only go so far on any card, but you should be able to get at least a small OC out of it. The two most commonly used aftermarket coolers are the Zalman VF700-CU and the Arctic Cooling Silencer series (the Silencer 2 fits the 9600xt). Either should help you get a better OC.

hmm.. so which is better? zalman or arctic cooling?

The zalman will Actually cool better, But the Arctic cooler exhausts the hot air from the GPU. If you have good airflow through your case definatley go for the Zalman

What ever good points you may think the scilencer has over the zalman just forget it. The scilencer has nothing on the zalman vf700-cu imo.
